Seventies to nineties

Seventies and Eighties Page

The next are a linked group of seventies artists, all on CBS records or Blue Horizon.

Blue Horizon and Chess are classic "Blues" labels. There are many vinyl compilations and, no doubt several web pages devoted to them. Links to follow shortly I hope. Refer also to the "Influential" pages. I actually bought quite a few at the time! I'll add a list later below the main tables.

Most are loosely jazz linked too, or at least include a brass element. Guest appearances are common. Supergroup and jam sessions survive from this period.
