CHAIRMAN'S STATEMENT

HIGHLIGHTS

*Agreement executed to fund the construction of Springfield IMAX
*Letter of Intent agreed for IMAX cinema at Cannery Row Monterey, California
*Letter of Intent agreed for Large Format cinema in Athens, Greece
  *Working capital fundraising completed

FINANCIAL RESULTS

As the company continued in its development phase, without operations, it
incurred a loss from ordinary activities for the period of #258,302. This was an
increase of #69,541 over the same period last year due mainly to third party
professional fees related to development costs, as well as financial advisory
fees and other costs as related to the fundraising which occurred during the
period.

Springfield

The first Bella project - hopefully now under way!

SPRINGFIELD

During this period, Bella Media announced it signed an agreement with Bass Pro
shops, whereby Bass Pro will build and fund the $3.4 million construction of
Bella's flagship 3D 350 seat IMAX cinema and Bella will lease it back and
operate the theatre as part of a long term 30 year lease with subsequent options
totaling 25 years.

This event was very positive for Bella Media, as it allowed Bella to continue to
pursue the Springfield Project with Bass Pro funding the construction. It also
brought Bass Pro into the project in a committed manner, which lead them to take
on a major design development project to assure a seamless transition between
the retail, education, entertainment, and common area aspects of the 40 acre
complex.

The planned expansion of this complex will add the Bella Films 350 seat - 3D
IMAX Theatre plus additional museum exhibits as well as a Conservation
Educational Center and further improvements including a magnificent common area
space to be the connector of the IMAX, the Museum and the Bass Pro Store. This
space is also planned to have live animal and fish exhibits with streams of
water to further draw customers into the area.

As Bass Pro is funding the construction of these enhancements, they exercise
control of the timing of the development and construction and their current plan
is to have the IMAX and the related expansion ready for opening in late Spring
2007.

Bella has also agreed to produce, in cooperation with Bass Pro, an IMAX Large
Format film adventure celebrating the heritage of outdoor pursuits including the
conservation of the wilderness, intended as a destination film for Springfield.
The film will also be available for distribution throughout the large-format
theatre system.

Clearly, Bass Pro represents a strong and prestigious partner for Bella, with
its store network, 30 stores in North America and 20 under development, as well
as a strong reach of their catalogue business. Both Bass Pro and Bella are
excited about the future prospects of the Springfield IMAX Theatre.

December 2006 - The Current project is terminated.

See annual report for details.

The resolution and opportunity for the Company was to assure a transfer of the payments made to IMAX for the system under the Springfield project to credit toward our Monterey project, and thus mutually terminate the current agreements in Springfield to be able to focus on Monterey, leaving open the door to return to Springfield, if and when Bass Pro may be ready in the future. This resolution has been recently agreed in principle by all three parties with the documentation being prepared for execution within the next 30 days.

Although this resolution preserves the payments made to IMAX through the Springfield agreement, the transfer created the technical need to review the goodwill related to the Springfield Project. On the basis that this project will be terminated, the Directors of the Company have decided to make a provision against the entire carrying value of the goodwill in relation to this project, which was referred to in the beginning of this statement.

Monterey

See next panel for info on planning permission.

There is also a referral to a Historical Society committee in the pipeline. Results are awaited.

MONTEREY

Just before the end of the period, on 30 December 2005, Bella entered into an
exclusive Letter of Intent with the landowner of a prime site in the middle of
the tourist area of Cannery Row in Monterey, California for the development of a
Bella Large Format Cinema and Entertainment complex. The company also has
entered into an exclusive agreement with IMAX for the supply of a 3D IMAX System
for this site.

Monterey Bay offers an extremely attractive location for a Bella Destination
Large Format cinema. The primary tourist trade area, up to three to four hour
drive, has a population of 9,500,000 and growing. Annual visitors to the Cannery
Row area are consistently over 4,000,000 and the Monterey Bay Aquarium alone has
1,500,000 to 2,400,000 visitors per year. Over the last 20 years 36,000,000
people have visited the Monterey Bay Aquarium.

The venue is a well known historical building which Bella will adapt preserving
the exterior and rebuilding the interior with a 290 seat IMAX 3D Theatre along
with 3 floors complimentary lobby, retail, and concessions, including a bar/cafe
on the 3rd floor with an outdoor deck with Monterey Bay views.

During the day the venue will offer great opportunities for promotional and
educational tie-ins with the Monterey Bay Aquarium, about 3 blocks away. While
in the evening it will offer a new entertainment venue for the local community
and tourists, as well as a venue for corporate events.

The Cannery Row area in Monterey has been a coveted location for an IMAX Cinema
pursued by several groups over the last 10 years, but an appropriate site always
eluded them. Bella has succeeded in securing an exclusive deal and site for an
IMAX in Monterey at a great location convenient to the center of Cannery Row
tourism, Monterey Bay Aquarium , and across the street from a 1,000 car parking
garage.

It is an exciting and prestigious project which can move fairly quickly into
construction phase, subject to Monterey City Use Permit, final lease execution
and funding of project equity and financing.

 Athens

This project is still at an early stage.

ATHENS

Previously, we announced the Letter of Intent to develop a Large Format Theatre
project in Athens, Greece. This project is contingent upon our local joint
venture partner securing a suitable site in central Athens and to date, there
has been no firm deal proposed for such a site. Our interest still remains in
Athens and we will evaluate the potential once any site is proposed to us.

Financing

FINANCING STATUS

During the period, the Company completed an equity fundraising in which #880,699
before expenses was successfully raised for Springfield IMAX payments and
working capital needs.

Further, at the Company's Annual General Meeting, on March 14, 2006, Shareholder
approval was requested to increase the Company's Authorised Share Capital and
permit the issue of shares up to a nominal amount of #5,999,764.

The Monterey Project requires significant capital which the Company intends to
pursue through equity, debt and limited partners within the project entity -
Bella Cinema LLC -, and it is critical for the Company to have the ability to
place equity to pursue the Monterey Project. Further, due to delays in
Springfield and development expenses related to Monterey, the Company will also
need to increase working capital through an equity placement. We are currently
examining ways in which this need can be met.

We appreciate your investment in Bella Media and believe that the new positive
developments related to the Monterey Project will allow us to continue with our
mission to move Bella Media from a development company to a major operating
company in the market niche of Large Format Destination Films and Cinemas.

Bella wins first approval for planned California 3D-IMAX

AIM-quoted Bella Media has won initial approval for the planned development of a large-format 3D cinema in the world-famous Cannery Row area of Monterey, California.

The Monterey Planning Commission has overwhelmingly approved a permit allowing Bella to convert the historic 15,000 sq-foot Edgewater Packing Company building into a 290-seat 3D IMAX movie cinema.

The proposed development is in line with Bella's plans to establish a global presence servicing the fast-growing "edutainment" market at major tourist destinations.

Bella Chief Executive Fred Weinert said: "This is a crucial step forward for us, and to have obtained this first step so quickly and with such a positive vote reflects the depth of support for our project within a community that depends heavily on tourism."

The planned IMAX cinema is located near the popular Monterey Bay Aquarium on the shores of Monterey Bay. Cannery Row, famous for the John Steinbeck novel of the same name, attracts more than four million tourists a year. Bella now plans to present the proposed development to Monterey's Historic Preservation Commission, and is also exploring financing and funding options.

Bella aims to build and operate giant-screen theatres to produce and distribute large format films, and to capitalize on the growing and merging trends in travel, recreation, education and retail. In addition to the cinema, the project would include retail shops, a cafe and bar.
